ESPN’s College GameDay crew weighed in on all the major action going on around the country to kick start Week 9.

This weekend, the popular Saturday morning pre-game show was live from Salt Lake City, Utah for the pending top-15 battle between Oregon and Utah. The crew broke down a number of key topics, including a preview of the first College Football Playoff rankings that are due out Tuesday evening.

When it comes to Saturday night’s key B1G clash, the entire GameDay crew and guest picker Steve Smith Sr. were riding with the Buckeyes. Here is how the picks played out:

Desmond Howard: Ohio State. “Strange things happen up in Madison, but Ohio State will prevail.”

Pat McAfee: Ohio State. “They’ll be jumpin’ around but I think Ohio State will be celebrating.”

Steve Smith Sr.: Ohio State.

Kirk Herbstreit: Ohio State. “I think Ohio State’s defense is able to travel. I think Ohio State’s offense might be challenged… I just don’t think there’s enough balance for Wisconsin’s offense.”

Heading into the game, Ohio State is a 2-touchdown favorite on the road. That’s a tough spot for the Badgers, and we’ll see if Ohio State is up to the task Saturday night.
