ESPN’s College GameDay crew kicked off a massive Week 4 slate of college football Saturday morning. Across the weekend, 6 matchups of top-25 teams will go down, including the White Out game between Penn State and Iowa.

Heading into that matchup, James Franklin’s squad is a healthy favorite over Kirk Ferentz’s program. The Nittany Lions have been clicking on both sides of the ball, particularly on offense where Drew Allar has things humming as a first-year starter at quarterback.

When it came time to pick the matchup, the entire College GameDay crew went with Penn State to come away with another White Out win. However, the crew was split on how the final score might look.

Desmond Howard: Penn State. “Exciting atmosphere, there’s no way Penn State is gonna lose this game. But I think it’s going to be close, a low-scoring game. Maybe 21-17.”

Pat McAfee: Penn State. “This one might be a snoozer… I think Penn State gets the win with both of those running backs having a big day.”

Vince Vaughn: Penn State. “Iowa’s a tough team, it’s going to be close, anything can happen, but I’m going Penn State.”

Lee Corso: Penn State. “Iowa beat Penn State during a White Out (in) 2009. No, not this year, forget about it.”

Kirk Herbstreit: Penn State. “Penn State, White Out, night game. Enough said.”
