College GameDay crew picks The Game
College GameDay was back to break down all the action across the country for Week 14 and the Rivalry Week of college football. ESPN’s crew used their picks segment to weigh in on The Game with Ohio State hosting Michigan in a major matchup.
With a win, the heavily favored Buckeyes would advance to their first Big Ten Championship Game appearance since 2020 and likely cement their spot in the College Football Playoff. But don’t expect Michigan, winner of 3 straight in the series, to just go quietly.
Here is how the GameDay crew picked the matchup:
Desmond Howard: Michigan. “In the words of the great Nick Saban, do you have to ask?”
Nick Saban: Ohio State. “I coached at Ohio State, so I’m picking Ohio State. I think they’re one of the best teams int eh country.”
Pat McAfee: Ohio State. “21-point favorite at home… if ryan day doesn’t win this by 5 scores today, the Ohio fans are going to go bananas. So with that being said, give me Ohio State getitng a massive win.”
Dude Perfect: Ohio State. “I have family ties to Michigan… I feel as good about this pick as I do any of them. Ohio State is going to win by a lot. This could get ugly.”
Lee Corso: Ohio State
Kirk Herbstreit: Ohio State. “I think if there’s anything to pay attention to Ohio State, it’s their offensive line… Big challenge against Mason Graham. I think the game early will be copetitive. I think Ohio State is just too much better as a team.”
