Week 4 and the special edition of ESPN’s College GameDay is here!
Broadcasting live from the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia, the popular pre-game show has been a blend of college football previews and PGA Tour action. It has been a cool and interesting setup with the college football action getting set to kickoff.
Around the B1G, there are five games set to be played on Saturday. Iowa and Minnesota started the weekend slate Friday evening with the huge win by the Hawkeyes, and the contest between Maryland and Ohio State has been canceled due to COVID concerns within the Terrapins program.
Some of the notable games are Northwestern-Purdue in a battle of unbeaten squads and Wisconsin’s return to action against Michigan. Indiana will also try to move to 4-0 against Michigan State.
Here are all the picks from the GameDay Crew, including those of guest picker Jack Nicklaus:
Jack Nicklaus: Penn State (over Nebraska), Northwestern (over Purdue), Wisconsin (over Michigan)
Desmond Howard: Nebraska (over Penn State), Northwestern (over Purdue), Wisconsin (over Michigan)
Kirk Herbstreit: Penn State (over Nebraska), Purdue (over Northwestern),
Lee Corso: Nebraska (over Penn State), Purdue (over Northwestern), Wisconsin (over Michigan),
Bear: Purdue (+3 and outright vs Northwestern), Michigan (+6.5 vs Wisconsin)
