ESPN’s College GameDay crew is back for another week, kicking off all the Week 8 Saturday action with a broadcast from Columbus. The crew is on-site for the Penn State vs. Ohio State matchup and also picked the Floyd of Rosedale matchup between Iowa and Minnesota.

The series has recently been dominated by the Hawkeyes and both teams hit the field this week with a lackluster offense. Defense — and special teams — will be the themes of the afternoon, but the action will always be intense with a trophy on the line.

Here is how the GameDay crew and guest picker CJ Stroud picked the game:

Desmond Howard: Minnesota. “I’m going with the Golden Gophers, row the boat.”

Pat McAfee: Iowa. “I think Iowa wins this game and continues their march to the Big Ten Championship with zero offense.”

CJ Stroud: Iowa. “I like Iowa, tough defense. If you can’t score, they can’t win.”

Lee Corse: Iowa. “3-0, Iowa wins.”

Kirk Herbstreit: Iowa. “(The Hawkeyes) won a game and did not run a play in Wisconsin territory. Anybody that can do that…”
