The March Madness tournament is quickly approaching. As we enter mid-February, we’re about one month away from one of the greatest events on the sports calendar. That means it’s time for some bracketology.
During Saturday morning edition’s of ESPN’s College GameDay, the crew of Rece Davis, Seth Greenberg, LaPphonso Ellis and Jay Bilas made their projections for the Top 16 teams in the NCAA Tournament — or the Top 4 seeds in each of the 4 regions.
Several B1G teams were included, with Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin all being listed as one of the Top 16 seeds. Both the Wolverines and Buckeyes were listed as No. 1 seeds for the tournament, meaning the conference would account for half of the top seeds this year.
Michigan is 13-1 on the season with an 8-1 mark in B1G play, sitting atop the league. Ohio State has been red-hot recently, winning five games in a row and improving to 16-4 on the year and 10-4 against conference foes.
