College GameDay made its first trip to the Twin Cities less than a year ago, and already ESPN’s popular pregame show is headed back.

Saturday night, College GameDay announced that it will be heading to Minneapolis for next weekend’s showdown between Michigan and Minnesota. The Little Brown Jug will be on the line in the opening weekend of the B1G season.

The announcement was made with a post on Twitter on Saturday night.

This will be College GameDay’s first trip to B1G country of the season, with the conference delaying the start of the year until the weekend of Oct. 24. Conference play actually begins on Friday, Oct. 23 with Illinois taking on Wisconsin.

Last season, Michigan finished with a 9-4 record while Minnesota ended 11-2.

Michigan-Minnesota is ABC’s Game of the Week, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
