College GameDay could reportedly be coming to the B1G for Week 11. Sun Times’ Jeff Agrest posted about where the program might be at.
GameDay could be in Champaign for the Purdue-Illinois game. The Fighting Illini and Boilermakers are two of the top teams in the B1G West and could produce a great showdown on the turf.
Here’s what the member of GameDay had to say about the potential location for Week 11:
“[It’s] one of many on the list of potential sites that day,” they said. “Who knows!”
#Illini-Purdue on Nov. 12 in Champaign is on ESPN’s “College GameDay” radar. Said a show honcho: “[It’s] one of many on the list of potential sites that day. Who knows!”
Illinois is one of seven Power 5 schools that haven’t hosted the show.

It’s worth noting that Illinois is one of the seven Power 5 programs that has never had GameDay on its campus.
Illinois is 7-1 heading into Week 10, while Purdue sits at 5-3 and is trying to hold on to second place in the division. The Boilermakers recently lost to Wisconsin in Week 9 35-24. Minnesota is hot on Purdue’s tail, but the Boilermakers have the tie-breaker after the win in Minneapolis.
We’ll keep you posted on any more updates regarding College GameDay’s location for Week 11. The Purdue-Illinois game will take place on Nov. 12.
