College GameDay will be hitting campuses this fall, announces first destination in 2020

College GameDay will be heading to campuses in the fall. And on Saturday, it announced its first location for the 2020 season.

Next week, ESPN’s popular pregame show will be heading ton Winston-Salem, North Carolina for a showdown between No. 1 Clemson and Wake Forest. It will be the first weekend of the 2020 season the ACC is in action.

Clemson is coming off another College Football Playoff run, but falling a victory short of a national championship, losing to LSU to close out the season. Wake Forest appeared in the Pinstripe Bowl at the end of last season, falling to Michigan State.

GameDay made its return on Saturday morning, preparing for the first weekend of the college football season at the FBS level. Six games are scheduled for today, as well as one more on Monday.

The week started on Thursday, with two games taking place.
