There’s a Top-25 showdown in store for the B1G this weekend, but the teams involved may be a bit surprising.

With its 2-0 start, Indiana is riding high and will actually outrank Michigan when the game kicks off Saturday. However, the Hoosiers will enter the contest as a 3.5-point home underdog to the 1-1 Wolverines.

It is one of the more intriguing matchups of Week 3 in the conference with history on the side of Jim Harbaugh’s squad. When discussing the matchup on ESPN’s College GameDay, Chris “Bear” Fallica also had to side with Michigan.

Why is Bear riding with the Wolverines? It has to do with some of the struggles Indiana has had despite winning the first two games:

“We’ve been talking Indiana. They’re a great story, 2-0, but it’s a pedigree thing really,” said Bear. “Michigan’s beat them 39 of the last 40 times, you look at Indiana’s record. Yeah, they’re 2-0, but you had 200 yards against Penn State. You’ve got 3 turnovers each game against your opponent. You probably didn’t get in the end zone, but they gave you the win against Penn State.

“Last week, 2.7 YPC against Rutgers, 340 yards. I love Indiana…I think it’s a good spot for Michigan.”

Despite Indiana being 2-0 against the spread this season, Bear picked Michigan -3.5 against the Hoosiers. Will Michigan and Harbaugh get the upset, or will Tom Allen and company move to 3-0?
