College hoops expert Mike DeCourcy includes 8 B1G teams in latest Bracketology
College basketball expert Mike DeCourcy is showing the B1G a little more love than others in his latest Bracketology. The Sporting News writer has 8 teams from the league earning a bid into this year’s NCAA Tournament.
DeCourcy recently released his latest Bracketology as the final month of the regular season winds down. He does not have any team from the league sitting on the 1-line, but does have Purdue in as a No. 2 seed.
Here’s a look at the seed lines DeCourcy has for the 8 B1G teams:
No. 2 seed: Purdue
No. 3 seed: Wisconsin
No. 4 seed: Illinois
No. 4 seed: Ohio State
No. 5 seed: Michigan State
No. 9 seed: Iowa
No. 11 seed: Indiana
No. 12 seed: Rutgers
DeCourcy has one more B1G team than Jerry Palm of CBS Sports, who does not include Rutgers in his 68-team picture.
Michigan is also listed as a First Four Out team in DeCourcy’s bracket. If both the Scarlet Knights and Wolverines continue to play strong down the stretch, that could potentially give the B1G 9 teams in the tournament.
In his latest Bracket Forecast, @tsnmike has 8 Big Ten teams getting ready to dance 🕺
