A frightening incident occurred this week in Fort Worth, Texas, which involved the quarterback of Abilene Christian University being airlifted to a hospital.
According to The Optimist, Abilene Christian QB Sema’J Davis was driving his car when another vehicle ran a red light and slammed into him:
Junior quarterback Sema’J Davis suffered ‘serious injuries’ Thursday night after a blue Dodge Charger ran a red light at over 100 mph striking Davis’ and a separate vehicle.
Davis was the sole occupant of his white Cadillac and was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. The accident occurred just after 11 p.m. Thursday night eastbound on Ambler Ave.
Per the report, both Davis and the driver of the vehicle who ran the red light were airlifted to be treated for their injuries. There was no update on the seriousness of the injuries or the status of either individual.
