Commitment info revealed for 4-star DB who is considering multiple B1G programs
One of the top safeties in the 2023 recruiting class is going to be making his college decision this week. Three B1G programs are going to be tuned in for the big announcement.
Malik Hartford, a 4-star safety out of Ohio, will be making his commitment announcement on Wednesday, April 6. His decision will air on CBS Sports HQ and 247Sports.com at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Hartford is considering several schools, including three from the B1G. The list includes Cincinnati, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and West Virginia.
According to 247Sports, Hartford ranks as the No. 154 overall player in the 2023 class and is listed as the No. 11 safety. He’s also considered a Top 5 prospect out of Ohio.
Both Ohio State and Michigan State have 5 verbal commitments in the 2023 class and Michigan has 6. The Buckeyes rank No. 2 in the B1G while the Spartans and Wolverines come in at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
