An interesting wrinkle thrown into this game is a crew member from the 2016 Michigan-Ohio State game will be officiating Saturday’s contest, according to College GameDay.
Wolverines fans will not be happy hearing about this. In the 2016 game, there was a controversial spot on 4th down; when Ohio State was driving at first glance, it appeared as if the Wolverines had stopped the Buckeyes short of the line to gain. After review, the officials rule the Buckeyes had reached the line to gain, giving Ohio State a first down.

The Buckeyes won the game 30-27 in 2OT.
If there are any controversial calls today, you can be sure that Wolverines fans in the stadium and on social media may blow a gasket, especially if they know who is on the officiating crew.
No matter what happens in today’s game, it should be another great installment of one of the greatest rivalries in sports.
