This was the most deliberated and discussed Selection Sunday in the four-year history of the College Football Playoff. And with the fourth spot coming down to two teams — Alabama and Ohio State — there was plenty of outrage once the Crimson Tide earned a the final bid.

One of the critics was college football analyst Danny Kanell, who has long been on the opposite side of the SEC. So when Georgia and Alabama earned a spot in the CFP, making the SEC the first conference with two representatives, he had some pretty strong words.

Kanell went on a relatively lengthy Twitter on Sunday afternoon, venting his frustration with the College Football Playoff committee and the selection process.

There were plenty of upset fans and disagreeing analysts making their feelings well known on social media on Sunday, but Kanell’s might have been the most prominent.

We’ll see if he changes his tune at any time if this College Football Playoff turns out to be one of the best.
