Dante Moore was a 5-star recruit and one of the top overall players in the 2023 recruiting class. After spending one season at UCLA, Moore could be on a return path to the Midwest via the transfer portal.

Moore was rated the top player out of Michigan by the 247 Sports Composite out of Martin Luther King in Detroit. He appeared in 9 games as a true freshman for the Bruins and threw for 1,610 yards with 11 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on 53.5% passing.

Now in the transfer portal, Moore is reportedly looking at a group of Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and Miami as contenders for his next destination. That is per a report from Chad Simmons with On3 Sports. Three of those programs will be in the B1G next season while Miami resides in the ACC.

Both Ohio State and Michigan pursued Moore coming out of high school, and Oregon even landed the QB’s initial commitment before he flipped and signed with UCLA late in 2022. He will be viewed as one of the most talented QBs in the portal this offseason, and it will be interesting to see where he lands for 2024.
