Deshaun Watson has reportedly received the discipline recommendation of Judge Sue Robinson, and Watson now faces the possibility of filing an appeal. Multiple reports have carried the story, including NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Watson is currently participating in training camp with the Cleveland Browns after being traded by the Houston Texans this offseason. The issue at hand is Watson’s 24 civil suits filed against Watson by massage therapists alleging sexual harassment and assault over appointments in 2020 and 201. Watson has settled 23 of 24 of those suits.

The NFL Players Association also issued a joint statement Sunday saying it would not appeal the ruling from Robinson and urged the league to do the same.

“Every player, owner, business partner and stakeholder deserves to know that our process is legitimate and will not be tarnished based on the whims of the League office” the union said in a statement.

If Watson misses 6 games, he could miss Cleveland’s games against the Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots. He would be set to return on Oct. 23 to face the Baltimore Ravens.
