Desmond Howard is catching heat after ridiculous criticism of Vanderbilt K Sarah Fuller
Desmond Howard is in some hot water with college football fans.
On Saturday morning, Howard compared Vanderbilt kicker Sarah Fuller’s kicking stroke to Charles Barkley’s golf swing.
Fuller, a Vandy soccer player, will become the first woman to compete in a FBS football game if she appears for the Commodores vs. Missouri.
Here’s video of Howard’s comments:

Howard has been receiving criticism for this comment all morning. In addition to being an unnecessary comment, it’s also not true. Here’s video of Fuller appearing to drill a kick during practice:
Great use of talent @VandyFootball asking K Sarah Fuller to kick! Poor form by @DesmondHoward and Co. for dissing her kicking style. It’s 2020 @ESPN. Please feel free to leave the 1800s and join us. https://t.co/bD8Nts8roS

Vanderbilt is averaging one field goal attempt per game. The Commodores are 3-for-7 on the season.
Here’s some more reaction to Howard’s take:
Damn Desmond Howard about to catch hell.

Yet another in a long line of reasons Desmond Howard shouldn't be employed.
