Desmond Howard ripped on social media for mind-boggling CFP bracket
By Paul Harvey
Published:
Desmond Howard is not scared to stir the pot when it comes to his predictions, and he opened the 2022 season with a wild scenario for the College Football Playoff.
During the first College GameDay broadcast of the season, Howard was the lone member of the crew to pick a team other than Ohio State to win the B1G. He, of course, went with Michigan, his alma mater to win the B1G and make the Playoff.
Howard’s bracket of the final four was the real shocker. With the Wolverines winning the B1G, Howard has Jim Harbaugh’s squad facing Baylor on one side of the bracket.
On the other side of things, Howard has Texas A&M as the No. 1 seed facing Pittsburgh out of the ACC. His ultimate pick for the championship game is A&M facing off against Michigan with the Aggies winning their first title in the Jimbo Fisher era.
Needless to say, social media weighed in with some… thoughts on Howard’s picks:

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. pic.twitter.com/ovxOaJMRjf
