Dillon Gabriel has a found a home at Oregon in 2024 after stops at UCF and Oklahoma, and the results have been downright incredible so far.

Gabriel has had the Ducks at No. 1 for several weeks now in his first season in Eugene. He’s thrown for a whopping 3,066 yards and 22 touchdown passes to go with 6 rushing TDs with still 1 regular-season game left on Saturday night against Washington.

And for his all excellence, Gabriel was rewarded on Tuesday by being named a finalist for the Maxwell Award, given annually to college football’s most outstanding player, and the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award.

The other 2 finalists for the Maxwell Award are Colorado 2-way star Travis Hunter and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.

Meanwhile, Hunter’s teammate, Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and Miami quarterback Cam Ward were named the other 2 finalists for the Davey O’Brien.

Back to the left-handed rifleman Gabriel, who has only thrown 6 interceptions this season while carving up Big Ten defenses for the Ducks. Gabriel has thrown for 290+ yards in 6 of his 11 games this season while completing 73.8% of his passes.

Gabriel will take aim at the Washington defense and look to put the finishing touches on a historic regular season on Saturday night in the 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT) kickoff on NBC from Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
