The B1G is known for producing some of the best offensive linemen in college football, and the 2021 season will be no different. Some of the best players along the front line will be returning for the upcoming season.

Pro Football Focus (PFF) recently released its five highest-graded returning offensive linemen at the Power 5 level for the 2021 season. Three of those names came from the B1G.

Ohio State left tackle Thayer Munford was at the top of the list, earning a grade of 91.8. Iowa Center Tyler Linderbaum is the nation’s top returning center with a 91.5 grade and fellow Hawkeye Cole Banwart has the right guard spot locked down with an 80.5 grade.

The other two offensive linemen included were Arizona State’s Dohnovan West at left tackle with a 76.6 grade and Kentucky right tackle Darian Kinnard with a 91.5.

It’s no surprise that the B1G will be home to some of the top offensive linemen in college football again this fall. Still, having three of the highest-graded players at the position is a pretty impressive accomplishment for one conference.

Watching Munford, Linderbaum and Banwart on the field again this year should be incredibly fun.
