The biggest conference challenge in college basketball has released the schedule for the 2019 battle.

On Thursday, the schedule for the 2019 ACC-B1G Challenge was announced and their were some big-time matchups that will be circled on the calendar.

Two matchups in-particular highlight the 2019 slate. Duke will travel to Michigan State on Tuesday, Dec. 3 for an Elite Eight rematch from the NCAA Tournament this past year. On Wednesday, Dec. 4, Virginia will take on Purdue in another Elite Eight rematch.

Michigan State defeated Duke in the Elite Eight to reach the Final Four last season. Virginia knocked off Purdue in an overtime battle to make a Final Four trip. The Cavaliers won the 2019 national championship.

Another significant matchup will be Ohio State against North Carolina, another bout that will take place on Wednesday, Dec.4.

The ACC-B1G Challenge started in 1999 and has been a yearly affair on the hardwood. The ACC leads the all-time series with a 12-5-3 advantage. Last year, the two conferences tied at seven wins each. The ACC has dominated the last two years, winning 11-3 in 2017 and 9-5 in 2016.
