Duquesne football player dies after falling from 16th floor window
This is a tragic story.
On Thursday night, Pittsburgh police were called as an altercation was taking place on the 16th floor of a residence hall building at Duquesne University. When the police got there, that’s when Marquis Brown, a football player at Duquesne, fell from the window.
Brown was found and transported to a hospital, where he later died. Supposedly, no foul play is suspected and Brown jumped from the window.

Duquesne has a homecoming game scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday where Brown was supposed to be a part of the team.
Duquesne University President Ken Gormley gave a small statement on the matter:
“Please join me in praying for Marquis, his family, and his many friends and teammates during this time of great sadness for the entire campus community. May he rest in peace,” Gormley said.
