History. The AP College Basketball Poll has never had its top six teams lose in the same day. Well, it’s February 26, 2022 and it just happened. What a day of college basketball.

Like the Boilermakers’ defeat in East Lansing, all of the top-10 losses came on the road. Here’s how it all played out:
- No. 1 Gonzaga lost 67-57 at No. 23 Saint Mary’s
- No. 2 Arizona lost 79-63 at Colorado
- No. 3 Auburn lost 67-62 at No. 17 Tennessee
- No. 4 Purdue lost 68-65 at Michigan State
- No. 5 Kansas lost 80-70 at No. 10 Baylor
- No. 6 Kentucky lost 75-73 at No. 18 Arkansas
- No. 9 Texas Tech lost 69-66 at TCU
The calendar still says February, but Saturday’s outcomes have everyone talking about March. The 2021-22 college basketball season is winding down. AP Top 25 voters have a lot to sort out after Saturday, but perhaps more importantly, this also shakes up the NET rankings, which help decide seeding and the bubble.
