The crew of analysts at ESPN has updated its selections for the College Football Playoff at the end of the season.

Three teams consistently were selected among the group 15 reporters and analysts — Clemson, Alabama and Ohio State. There were plenty of variations for that fourth spot. Teams from the SEC, Big 12, ACC and even Group of 5 conferences received votes.

Among the teams mentioned for that fourth spot include: Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, BYU, Georgia, Texas A&M, Coast Carolina and Notre Dame. Here’s how ESPN’s analysts picked the College Football Playoff teams:

Andrea Adelson: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Cincinnati
Kyle Bonagura: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Oklahoma State
Bill Connelly: 1. Alabama, 2. Clemson, 3. Ohio State, 4. BYU
Heather Dinich: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia
David M. Hale: 1. Alabama, 2. Clemson, 3. Ohio State, 4. Texas A&M
Sam Khan Jr.: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia
Chris Low: 1. Alabama, 2. Clemson, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia
Harry Lyles Jr.: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia
Ivan Maisel: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Georgia, 4. BYU

Adam Rittenberg: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia
Alex Scarborough: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Notre Dame
Mark Schlabach: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia
Tom VanHaaren: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia
Dave Wilson: 1. Clemson, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Georgia

Next week, the B1G season will return, which could result in some changes to these picks. For now, though, Ohio State is nearly a unanimous selection to earn one of the four spots in the field.
