With the first games of the college football season just weeks away, ESPN officially announced its studio team of analysts for the 2019 season.

Both the main ESPN and ESPN 2 studio teams will feature some new and familiar faces. That was to be expected after the firing of previous ESPN host Adnan Virk earlier in the year.

Matt Barrie has been tabbed as the host for the main ESPN studio team and will fill the void left by Virk. He will be accompanied by former Ohio State WR Joey Galloway and former Florida Gators QB Jesse Palmer. Both Galloway and Palmer have been with the network for some time covering college football.

The ESPN 2 studio team will be hosted by Kevin Connors with Jim Mora and Emmanuel Acho as the analysts on the team. Mora brings a wealth of head coaching experience from both the NFL and the collegiate level. Acho was a star linebacker at Texas before bouncing around the NFL for multiple seasons.

The crew of Barrie, Galloway, and Palmer will see plenty of action with the network this fall. ESPN announced the crew will also be working on the network’s Thursday and Friday night coverage throughout the season.
