Week 1 of the college football season is not officially in the books as we have one game tonight between No.9 Notre Dame and Florida State and a Monday night college football game between Ole Miss and Louisville.

Everyone else, though, has at least one game on the record and two for some teams. The power rankings that ESPN comes out with each week during the season have dropped. There was not a ton of movement.

Here is the new Top 10 in power rankings according to ESPN:

  1. Alabama
  2. Georgia
  3. Ohio State
  4. Oklahoma
  5. Texas A&M
  6. Cincinnati
  7. Clemson
  8. Oregon
  9. Notre Dame
  10. Florida

The other three B1G teams found themselves outside of the top 10. The highest-ranked of the other three teams was No. 13 Penn State, who had a massive win against Wisconsin, then came No. 14 Iowa right behind and finally No. 20 Wisconsin, who fell to Penn State.

Ohio State has a date with Oregon next week for their home opener, Penn State plays Ball State, Iowa goes on the road to play Iowa State and Wisconsin will play Eastern Michigan.
