ESPN NFL analyst receives stitches after walking into camera
When Ryan Clark retired from the NFL, he probably thought the risk of sustaining a serious injury would drop dramatically. But the former defensive back ran into some unfortunate luck recently.
Actually, he ran into a camera.
Per ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, Clark, who is now an NFL analyst with ESPN, suffered a gash in his head after running into a camera during a commercial break of NFL Live. Clark went to the hospital where he received five stitches.
The series of tweets between Schefter and Clark are too perfect.
Injury update: @Realrclark25 is now at a local CT hospital, receiving 2-3 stitches on his forehead, after accidentally walking into a camera during a commercial break of NFL Live, per sources. Clark is probable for NFL Live next week.

Update Shefty….. Initial reports were wrong. 5 stitches were needed. Once we went into the injury tent, we realized in was a little more severe than the initial diagnosis

That looks pretty painful, but it sounds like Clark will be just fine. And he’s even probable for next week’s edition of NFL Live, so that’s good news.
Who would’ve thought being around cameras could be as dangerous as being on the field?
