The 2019 college football season is here.

Teams have already won and lost, and not just randomly — but Minnesota, a team in the Big Ten, is already 1-0. On Friday night, more B1G games will be played and this weekend marks Week 1 of the season.

Again, football season is here.

With that in mind, ESPN’s Playoff Predictor ran through its numbers and projections and released odds for the top 25 teams according to its model.

At No. 3, however, is Michigan at 41 percent. This may surprise some people. According to the AP Preseason top 25 poll, Michigan is No. 7 in the country, while Ohio State is No. 5.

And, in fact, ESPN’s Playoff Predictor has another B1G team inside its top 10 for having the best chance at making the playoff. It isn’t Ohio State.

It’s Penn State at 9 percent. Ohio State actually has a 5 percent chance at making the playoff and ranks 13th according to the predictions.

We’ll see how it all plays out soon enough.
