Outside of Northwestern and Rutgers, the Big Ten had a strong start to the 2016 college football season during the Week 1 opening weekend.

With an overall record of 12-2 including Wisconsin’s impressive win over No. 5 LSU — not to mention Ohio State and Michigan’s combined score of 140-13 over Bowling Green and Hawai’i, respectively — the conference moves forward with plenty of momentum.

ESPN staff writer Dan Murphy has put together his post-opener power rankings for the Big Ten. They’re hard to argue with:

1. Ohio State
2. Michigan
3. Wisconsin
4. Iowa
5. Michigan State
6. Nebraska
7. Minnesota
8. Penn State
9. Illinois
10. Indiana
11. Maryland
12. Northwestern
13. Purdue
14. Rutgers
