The 2018 college football season has come to a close and all of the final rankings have been filed away. ESPN was one of the last media outlets to unveil its final top 25.
It’s no surprise that Clemson and Alabama finished in the top two spots, with the Tigers on top after pummeling Alabama 44-16 in the national championship game. It’s the only time all season the Crimson Tide weren’t in the No. 1 spot.
Five B1G teams were listed, with just one ranking in the top 10. Ohio State was a top three team after its Rose Bowl victory over Washington and ending the year 13-1. Michigan and Penn State, both of which lost their bowl games, dropped significantly.
