We’re only three weeks into the college football season and we’ve already reached a consensus on the four best teams in college football.
OK, maybe not all of us are in agreement, but a group of four ESPN reporters appear to be in sync with their latest College Football Playoff picks. All four reporters have the same teams competing for the national title at the end of the title.
Seeding is the only difference.
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, Chris Low, Andrea Adelson and Mark Schlabach are the four reporters who have weighed in on their CFB Playoff picks all season. Here are their latest selections:
- Adelson: No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Ohio State
- Low: No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Ohio State, No. 3 Georgia
- Rittenberg: No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Clemson, No. 4 Ohio State
- Schlabach: No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Clemson
As you can see, everyone is pretty confident in Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. Clemson, Ohio State and Clemson are all jostled among the four reporters.
The picks are similar to last week, though there were a few considerations for Oklahoma. As you can tell, that’s no longer the case.
