ESPN has released updated power rankings heading into conference championship weekend.

The rankings include four Big Ten teams inside the top 25. Here’s the breakdown:

  • 4. Ohio State
  • 8. Indiana
  • 13. Northwestern
  • 16. Iowa

Ohio State and Northwestern are slated to face each other in the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday. This will be a rematch of the 2018 conference title game, which the Buckeyes won 45-24.

OSU has played just five games so far this season while the Wildcats are 6-1. Their lone loss came two weeks ago in an upset to Michigan State. However, Northwestern also owns wins over Iowa, Purdue, Wisconsin and Maryland.

Indiana is 5-1 this season with its only loss coming against Ohio State. Unfortunately, the Hoosiers are without starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who suffered a season-ending knee injury against Maryland.

Iowa is on tear. The Hawkeyes have won six straight games since falling to 0-2 to start the season. Five of those six wins have come by double digits, and all cylinders are firing on both sides of the ball.

The Big Ten is expected to announce the full slate for Week 9 on Sunday.
