Week 11 has come and gone. We’re already onto Week 12 of the college football season.

But before diving into next week’s action, ESPN’s FPI updated, giving teams an overall number that shows how good they are. The FPI certainly changed from where it was a week ago, as LSU defeated Alabama and Minnesota took down Penn State.

Last week, the top five consisted of Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson, LSU and Penn State.

Here is the newest FPI:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Clemson
  3. Alabama
  4. LSU
  5. Georgia
  6. Penn State
  7. Oregon
  8. Oklahoma
  9. Auburn
  10. Florida
  11. Wisconsin
  12. Michigan
  13. Utah
  14. Notre Dame
  15. Iowa
  16. Iowa State
  17. Texas A&M
  18. Washington
  19. Minnesota
  20. UCF
  21. Baylor
  22. USC
  23. Texas
  24. Oklahoma State
  25. Michigan State

Interesting, no? More like crazy. Not only is Alabama still ahead of LSU (after losing at home to the Tigers), but Minnesota is at 19. Nineteen!

Penn State is at six, while Michigan State — which has lost four straight games — is still No. 25 according to the FPI.

Good grief.
