We’re now concluded with Week 12 and just one game remains for most teams during the regular season.
Rivalry week is ahead, and we all know that upsets will be occurring left and right. Throw the records out of the books. Home-field advantage?
Sure, it means something. But these teams going against each other in the next week straight up hate each other. There will be no need for extra motivation.
After the games from Week 12, ESPN updated its Top 25 and the Big Ten now has 6 representatives:
No. 4 Michigan
No. 7 Ohio State
No. 8 Penn State
No. 12 Iowa
No. 24 Wisconsin
No. 25 Michigan State
These rankings may certainly differ from the College Football Playoff rankings, but these may be more indicative of how the teams are playing. Each poll is different, of course, but the Big Ten certainly has a number of capable teams that on any given Saturday can pull an upset.
