Each week, the ESPN FPI — a measuring tool that tells how well a team has played so far — updates. After Week 6 in the world of college football, some teams have certainly separated themselves from the pack in terms of what their actual FPI score is.

A week ago, Ohio State and Alabama were a cut above the rest. Following Week 6, let’s see if any of that changed:

  1. Alabama
  2. Ohio State
  3. Clemson
  4. Georgia
  5. LSU
  6. Oklahoma
  7. Penn State
  8. Notre Dame
  9. Auburn
  10. Wisconsin
  11. Oregon
  12. Florida
  13. Michigan
  14. Washington
  15. Michigan State
  16. Texas A&M
  17. Missouri
  18. Iowa
  19. Iowa State
  20. Texas
  21. Utah
  22. UCF
  23. USC
  24. Baylor
  25. South Carolina

In short, not much changed at the top. Alabama holds a slight lead over Ohio State as the Tide hold a 30.9 number to their name, while the Buckeyes are at 30.5. Clemson is next at 26.3, while Penn State — at No. 7 — is at 22.7, just to give some reference.
