ESPN college football writer Bill Connelly ranked the remaining undefeated teams heading into Week 9.

There are currently 6 undefeated teams left in college football and Connelly gave an order of those teams. Ohio State and Michigan were on this list as the only undefeated teams from the B1G. The other 4 undefeated teams are Clemson, Georgia, TCU, and Tennessee.

Here is Connelly’s order of the undefeated teams:

1. Ohio State

2. Georgia

3. Michigan

4. Tennessee

5. Clemson

6. TCU

Connelly revealed his list of undefeated teams on ESPN’s College Football Live. He gave his take on Ohio State being ranked No. 1:

“We don’t know what beats them right now, they’ve been pretty good at basically everything. We’ll find out if Michigan’s recipe from last year works, but right now they look like the best team to me,” Connelly said.

He placed Georgia right behind Ohio State in the No. 2 slot for undefeated teams. According to Connelly, the Bulldogs “don’t stretch the field offensively. They get by because they’re so good at everything else.”

He classified Michigan and Tennessee as part of the middle tier of undefeated programs. Here is what he said about the 2 teams:

“The middle tier to me is Michigan and Tennessee,” Connelly said. “Michigan I have third because they’ve looked tremendous on both sides of the ball. Very well-rounded.”

These 6 teams will be working in the final month of the season to remain undefeated. The undefeated teams at the end of the season will have the best chance to reach the College Football Playoff.
