ESPN's College GameDay announces location for conference championship weekend
College GameDay is headed to Charlotte for the ACC Championship Game next weekend.
ESPN made the announcement on Twitter on Saturday morning.

College GameDay was also on campus for Clemson’s loss to Notre Dame earlier this season.
However, in that game, Clemson starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence was not able to play due to COVID-19. The Fighting Irish won a close battle, 47-40 in overtime.
GameDay had several interesting choices, but ended up picking Charlotte as the destination. The Big Ten Championship (Ohio State vs. Northwestern) and the SEC Championship (Alabama vs. Florida) will be played on the same day.
This will be just the sixth all-time meeting between these programs. Clemson currently holds a 3-2 edge. Aside from its victory earlier this season, Notre Dame’s only win over the Tigers came in 1977.
In addition to playing for the ACC title and a spot in the College Football Playoff, Lawrence will have an opportunity to impress Heisman voters. He’ll have an uphill battle with fewer games played than Alabama’s Mac Jones or Florida’s Kyle Trask, but he’s still firmly in the mix.
Kick off is at 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 19.
