With bowl season right around the corner, some predictions are starting to roll in and that includes ESPN’s FPI.

For the Big Ten, there are five schools that will be going bowling this year (including Ohio State who is in the College Football Playoff).

Besides the Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and Northwestern will all be playing in bowl games.

According to the FPI, Wisconsin has a 72.5% chance to beat Wake Forest from the ACC in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

In the TransPerfect Music City Bowl, Iowa has a 78.9% chance to beat Missouri. That one isn’t a surprise considering the Hawkeyes have won six straight games to end their season.

For the Citrus Bowl, the FPI doesn’t like Northwestern’s chances against Auburn as they have just a 39.9% chance to win that game.

In the Outback Bowl, Indiana has a very strong chance to beat Ole Miss at 73.2%.

Finally, the College Football Playoff game between Clemson and Ohio State is virtually a coin flip with the Buckeyes having a 49.8% chance to go to the National Championship game.

Despite what the FPI is predicting, these look like some very solid bowl matchups for the B1G. Hopefully teams from the conference are able to show out in the postseason.
