ESPN’s FPI is back with more predictions for the week ahead in Week 13.

The Nittany Lions have responded well after the loss to Ohio State in Week 10, as they have outscored their last 2 opponents by a score of 84-16. In their most recent win, they took a 14-0 lead after 1 against Purdue en route to the 49-10 win.

The Golden Gophers were off last week and lost their previous game in Week 11 against Rutgers by a score of 26-19. Before that loss, they had won their previous 4 games after a 2-3 start.

Penn State is in a great position to make the CFP, but it needs a little help to make the B1G Championship Game. The first thing the Nittany Lions need to do is win this game, and they are favored in a big way. ESPN’s FPI is giving the Nittany Lions a 75.1% chance to win this game, leaving the Golden Gophers as home underdogs with just a 24.9% chance to win.

The B1G opponents will collide in a 3:30 pm ET kickoff from Huntington Bank Stadium with the game aired on CBS. The winner of this game will win the Governor’s Victory Cup.

Drew Allar was efficient in the win against Purdue in Week 12, as he went 17-of-19 for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns. His go-to guy was tight end Tyler Warren, who finished with 8 catches for 127 yards and 1 touchdown.

The defense held Purdue in check, as they allowed only 301 yards and finished with 3 sacks.

Max Brosmer has been very good for Minnesota this year, as he has thrown for 2,251 yards, 14 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. In his last four games, he has thrown for 8 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.
