ESPN's FPI predicts winner of Penn State-Michigan undefeated matchup in Week 7
ESPN’s FPI has chosen the team that it thinks will win in Penn State-Michigan. This game will have huge implications on the B1G East title race.
Both Michigan and Penn State have no losses in the B1G along with Ohio State. Michigan beat Indiana 31-10 in Bloomington last Saturday. The last time that Wolverines played there they lost 38-21 to the Hoosiers.
Penn State is fresh off of a bye week in Week 5. The Nittany Lions squeaked out a 17-7 win over Northwestern in their last game. James Franklin will be looking to take his team to the B1G title game for the first time since 2016.
Michigan beat Penn State by four in 2021 just to show how close the past meetings have been in recent years. Penn State lost at Beaver Stadium last time out 21-17. The game this year will be played at Michigan Stadium.
The Football Power Index is favoring Michigan in Week 7. It gives the Wolverines a 73.3% chance to win. Penn State is only given a 26.7% chance of victory.
Jim Harbaugh made his first appearance in the College Football Playoff last season with a 12-1 record. Penn State has never made the playoff since its inception in 2014.
