ESPN’s Football Power Index has been updated after the Week 3 slate of games. Included in these projections are the odds for who will win the B1G.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have the highest odds of winning the conference with a 57.3% chance. Next up are the Penn State Nittany Lions at 22.2% and the Michigan Wolverines at 8.7%

Here is the full list of all B1G teams and their chances of winning the conference:

  • Ohio State- 57.3%
  • Penn State- 22.2%
  • Michigan- 8.7%
  • Iowa- 4.9%
  • Wisconsin- 4.1%
  • Minnesota- 1.0%
  • No other team is given at least a 1% chance of winning the league

The Buckeyes have the highest odds to win the conference thanks to having the best chances of winning out. FPI gives the Buckeyes a 23.9% chance to win out, with games against Notre Dame, Penn State, and Michigan on the schedule.

Notably, the FPI only gives the Wolverines a 2.7% chance of winning out, with games against Penn State and Ohio State likely being the best chances for a loss.

The Hoosiers are the only team with a 0% chance of winning the conference after losing to Ohio State and Louisville.

Most B1G teams are kicking off conference play in Week 4, so these odds could look drastically different next week.
