We’re seeing some major changes in ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) this week. Another week of total and complete chaos in college football will do that.
Every Sunday, ESPN’s FPI updates and re-ranks the Top 25 teams in college football based on a specific formula. That equation has locked 3 B1G teams into the Top 10 and 6 in the Top 25 after Week 10, though it may not be the teams you think.
Ohio State leads the way for the B1G in the No. 3 spot, followed by Michigan at No. 5 and Wisconsin in the No. 9 slot. Penn State, Michigan State and Iowa also crack the Top 25 this week.
Here’s a look at the complete Top 25 from ESPN’s FPI after Week 10 action:
#1 Georgia
#2 Alabama
#3 Ohio State
#4 Oklahoma
#5 Michigan
#6 Pitt
#7 Iowa State
#8 Clemson
#9 Wisconsin
#10 Cincinnati
#11 Texas A&M
#12 Oklahoma State

#17 Ole Miss

Because the FPI accounts for all 130 teams at the FBS level, we can also see where every B1G team lands. Here’s how all 14 teams in the conference stack up after Week 10:
