ESPN’s FPI has officially updated their odds for teams to reach the College Football Playoff following the latest week of college football action.

According to the FPI, the top four teams with the best odds to make it to the CFP are Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Cincinnati. The odd omission, at this point, is Clemson at No. 5 on the odds. The Tigers are still in striking distance but the loss to Notre Dame two weeks ago set them back a bit.

Alabama has the highest odds to get there at just over 97 percent, followed by Ohio State at just over 71 percent. Notre Dame is nearly at 60 percent and Cincinnati is just a tad over 35 percent.

Other than Ohio State, the team with the best odds to make it from the Big Ten is Northwestern. The Wildcats got to 5-0 Saturday after they defeated Wisconsin and their odds are now at 13.9 percent to get in.

With the Badgers’ loss, their odds dropped down to 9.2 percent.

Other teams that are high on the odds list include Clemson (33.5 percent chance), Oregon (26.9 percent chance), USC (14.8 percent chance, and BYU (14.1 percent chance).

This list will surely be shaken up again as we get closer to conference championship weekend for each conference.
