With the first week of Big Ten action finally in the books, ESPN’s FPI has updated its odds for who will win the conference this season.

Based on the looks of this updated list, things largely remained the same at the top of the conference. Ohio State appears to be the clear favorite in the East while Wisconsin has a strong chance to repeat as West Division champions.

While the Buckeyes and Badgers held steady near the top, the rest of the conference saw some movement in the odds after we got a chance to see these teams take the field for the first time in 2020.

The biggest risers appear to be Michigan and Rutgers. The Wolverines went into Minneapolis and hung 49 points on Minnesota in an impressive performance. Meanwhile, the Scarlet Knights won their first Big Ten game since 2017.

As for the losers of the weekend, three teams look like they stick out: Minnesota, Michigan State, and Maryland. The Gophers and Spartans each showed some trouble areas in home losses. Meanwhile, the Terps got blown out on the road at Northwestern.

Here is a look at the teams with the five best chances of taking home the conference crown:

  • Ohio State: 60.4%
  • Wisconsin: 32.7%
  • Penn State: 2.8%
  • Michigan: 1.8%
  • Northwestern: 1.4%
