This year’s B1G Championship race may be one of the best in quite some time!

Heading into Week 3, both divisions of the conference look exceptionally balanced. In the East, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and Michigan State look to be the best of the bunch, but Maryland has impressed under Mike Locksley. In the West, Wisconsin, and Iowa have set themselves apart a bit, but there are a number of teams capable of making some noise.

Obviously, there’s a long ways to go before deciding anything, but ESPN’s updated FPI has an interesting look at the best odds to win the conference. Coming out of Week 1, Penn State was on top, but there is a new leader heading into Week 3.

Here are the five teams with the best odds to win the B1G, according to the FPI:

  • Wisconsin – 29.9%
  • Ohio State – 23.7%
  • Penn State – 19.3%
  • Iowa – 9.1%
  • Michigan State – 7.1%

Most notably, Michigan’s odds took the hardest hit in Week 2. The Wolverines came out of Week 1 with a 24.8% to win the B1G but now sit at 5.6% after the scare against Army.
