The race for the B1G Championship Game is heating up, and a number of teams are still looking strong heading into Week 6.

On the most recent AP Poll, 5 of the top 11 teams came out of the B1G, including 4 from the B1G East. Penn State and Iowa were ranked inside the top 5, setting up a dramatic showdown of unbeaten teams this weekend.

Coming out of Week 5, ESPN’s FPI has updated its odds to win the B1G this season. 5 teams still have odds above 3%, though only 3 teams are given a realistic shot at the title.

Here is how the FPI is seeing the odds to win the B1G:

  • Ohio State – 37.2%
  • Iowa – 31.5%
  • Michigan – 18.6%
  • Penn State – 6.4%
  • Michigan State – 3.6%

Like most things in college football, these odds will continue to work themselves out as we head into the heart of October. That will get started with Penn State and Iowa matching up in Kinnick Stadium this Saturday.
