Each offseason, there are always a number of mock drafts for the NFL Draft. Many of those mocks are put together by analysts, but a few offer a unique perspective.

For example, ESPN’s Mike Tannenbaum unveiled his first-round mock draft recently. Tannenbaum brings with him an interesting viewpoint after working for front offices in the NFL, including 6 years serving as the GM for the New York Jets.

As he explains it, Tannenbaum’s mock draft picks are “how I’d make each first-round pick if I were representing each of the 24 teams with at least one Day 1 selection.” He even called Aidan Hutchinson as the No. 1 overall pick “a no-brainer” for Jacksonville GM Trent Baalke.

Other notable selections on Tannenbaum’s mock draft include Ohio State duo Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave coming off the board with top-15 picks. Tannenbaum has Wilson going No. 4 to the Jets to work with QB Zach Wilson while Olave is projected to Washington to play alongside fellow Buckeye Terry McLaurin.

Here are the 7 B1G players included in Tannenbaum’s mock draft:

  • 1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan
  • 4. New York Jets – Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
  • 11. Washington Commanders – Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
  • 14. Baltimore Ravens – Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
  • 22. Green Bay Packers – Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State
