ESPN's SP+ predicts every B1G bowl game
After a fun regular season of college football, the 2021-22 Bowl Season is set to kick off in just a few days.
Friday afternoon and evening will see the first 2 games of the slate kick-off. Those first 2 games are the Bahamas Bowl and the Tailgreeter Cure Bowl.
While it will be just a little bit before B1G teams get into the action, 9 B1G teams will be in action, headlined by Michigan’s College Football Playoff appearance vs. Georgia. Ohio State in the Rose Bowl and Michigan State in the Peach Bowl are other New Year’s Six showdowns for the B1G.
On Wednesday, ESPN’s Bill Connelly unveiled the bowl picks via the SP+ system. It is always tricky projecting the end of the year contests, and this year is no different with some wild results likely in store.
Here is how the SP+ is predicting every B1G game in the postseason:
-
- West Virginia 19, Minnesota 31
- Virginia Tech 30, Maryland 27
- Purdue 24, Tennessee 33
- Michigan State 26, Pittsburgh 34
- Arizona State 21, Wisconsin 27
- Michigan 23, Georgia 29
- Arkansas 24, Penn State 26
- Kentucky 25, Iowa 22
- Utah 24, Ohio State 37
