ESPN’s SP+ predictions our out, which means we have hit the midweek mark of a week featuring meaningful college football games!
The 2022 college football season officially kicks off this Saturday with Week 0 action on Aug. 27. Out of the B1G, 3 teams will be in action.

Across the pond, Nebraska and Northwestern will square off in Dublin, Ireland for an early-season conference matchup. Heading into the game, Nebraska is just about a two-touchdown favorite.
Back in the states, Illinois will kick off the season with a showdown against Wyoming. The Illini enter that game as an 11-point favorite over the Cowboys.
According to the ESPN SP+ predictions compiled by Bill Connelly, Nebraska is expected to win and win overwhelmingly in Ireland. Illinois is also expected to win by double digits.

- Wyoming 16.8 vs. Illinois 28.6
Florida State (vs. Duquesne), North Carolina (vs. Florida A&M) and Vanderbilt (at Hawaii) are other Power 5 programs that will be in action for Week 0.
